Bubbie walked in to my life at the NKLA adoption event at the La Brea Tar Pits. She wasn't feeling well that day, but still made it out to the event in hopes to find her forever home. I was a volunteer - by no means expecting to fall in love with just one - I wanted to give them all love. But I did. She's the perfect mix of whatever she is...type A but mellow. She loves attention but was weary of it at first. Her Gremlin ears perk up almost all the time now. She gives her older brother, Handsome Samson (rescue from Lucky Star Cavalier - who was stuck in a horrible puppy mill for the first 5 years of his life - he's 12) kisses every morning. Just the perfect little thing who says hi to every dog she sees, sprints to her dog bowl, and grateful for her new life with us. (Bubbie is the white mix, Handsome Samson is the ruby Cavalier)
