Sonny and his mother were surrendered to the TCHS by their owner because they didn't want them anymore. He spent a few weeks as a shy little guy at the shelter, and was even adopted once and returned to the shelter before we got a chance to meet him. It was love at first site between him and my husband, and we adopted him a few days later. It took him a few months to warm up to me probably because he was abused. He is now a happy ball of energy knowing that he has found his forever home, and will never see the inside of a shelter kennel again.
