Zoey's story begins down south in Tennessee where she was originally rescued at 3 months old and then moved to North Shore Animal League. Not much is known about her litter mates or her mother but the wonderful staff at North Shore stepped in and took care of her during her stay with them. Upon first meeting her she displayed extreme shyness around humans but with other dogs turned into a completely different pup! Zoey and her kennel mate endlessly played for the entiriety of the adoption process and ceased to tire. Now Zoey has overcome her shyness and become an outgoing, dog park loving, all around sweetheart who will never pass up the chance for a belly rub.
