It was time for me to adopt dog #2 and I knew I wanted a chessie, so onto the rescue website I went. I filled out my application and the rescue contacted me wanting to me take a dog on a foster/potential adoption basis, but my heart was set on a dog named Drake because he had the same markings as my first dog. I drove to MO to meet his foster mom and took him home that day. He is now a therapy dog and visits patients at a local hospital students at UW Madison, nursing homes in the area and is a certified READ dog to have kids read to him in schools and libraries. He loves it!
