Although we don't have all the details, we believe Ruby was from a puppy mill/hoarder situation somewhere in KY. Barely 2 years, she had a litter of puppies, which were taken from her by another rescue organization. Safe Haven rescued her, and then put her into a foster home. I found her on PetFinder, and it was love at first sight. We brought her home, and she attached herself to me, despite her anxieties and trust issues. Now we both help each other out when the world gets to be too much.
