Late one night I was on facebook and I saw an emergency post from my favorite rescue org. asking for fosters to help save 3 puppies lives. They were scheduled to be euthanized the following afternoon & they needed commitments by morning. My husband & I offered to help so we could get those sweet pups out of there. When we went to pick them up, Lucy really did choose us. I know that is cliche, but she would not leave our side. We found fosters for her brothers & took her home w/ us to foster until she found her furever home. That never really came...LuLu was pretty slick. She knew to cuddle with me & play fetch with my husband. We immediately fell in love with her & decided she had to be ours. We can't imagine anyone ever trying to get rid of a beautiful dog like Lucy. She starts obedience classes as a preliminary to her Therapy training soon. She loves people so much we want to have her be a blessing to others.
